Those were the days, Chris. Oldsters like me remember double features well. Often the second feature was not too good,. budt sometimes a little gem turned up. Programs were continuous; if if you entered the thearte iwhile a film was playing, you could stay unil the “this is where we came in” occurred — and even beyond. This happened to me on my firstg viewing of the original King Kong; I went with my grandfather and we were both so entranced that arriving just when things began to happen, we saw the film through tpo the end again.

I saw 16 in my best year and I thought that was quite a few. How many in one year for you Chris?

Actually none, because I’ve never been to Toronto. But I went to a double feature in Vancouver once.
