Name calling

(Canscene) — Remember how, during the 1993 election campaign the Tory  ads levelled against Jean Chretien’s physical appearance  blew up in the party’s face and were contributors to the downfall of Prime Minister Campbell

They’re at it again, even before an election has been called asking  does Stephan Dion look like a leader? It will be interesting to see how much more aggressive these ads become when an election is finally called  and whether Dion has the good grace to maintain his dignity.

Already anti-Liberal attack ads have been dropped in Quebec because Harper and his party favour a vote for the provincial Liberals in the forthcoming election.

Will it be back to the attack there after March 26?
